#1: Personal Video Habits

If I am on my phone, I am most likely on TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, or YouTube. These apps are a big part of my daily routine and how I spend my free time. When I am bored or have downtime, TikTok is usually the first app I open. At night before going to bed, I scroll on TikTok to unwind and relax after a long day of class and practice. Instagram and Snapchat are apps I check throughout the day to stay connected with friends and keep up with what's going on. YouTube is an app I use when I want to watch longer videos and fully focus on the content.

TikTok is one of my most-used apps because of how entertaining and easy it is to get lost in. TikTok is a social media platform that allows users to create and watch short-form videos. I mainly use TikTok when I am bored or winding down at night. The algorithm does a great job of showing content that matches my interests, which keeps me scrolling for long periods of time. Some of my favorite creators and celebrities to keep up with on there are Alix Earle, Megan Moroney, and Reece Weaver. I enjoy watching sports clips, vlogs, and "GRWM" videos the most. These videos feel relatable and entertaining, which is why TikTok has become such a big part of my daily routine.

Instagram is another app I use very often throughout the day. I like Instagram because it allows me to see photos, stories, and reels all in one place. Even though Instagram reels are similar to TikTok, I still enjoy watching them because they often include things that are sure to give me a laugh, as well as other lifestyle content. Instagram is also a way for me to keep up with all my friends and favorite creators at the same time. It is an app I casually check multiple times a day, rather than using it for long periods at once.

YouTube is the app I use when I want to watch longer, more in-depth videos. I enjoy watching vlogs, sports-related videos, devotionals, and GRWM content on YouTube because they feel more detailed and personal than short videos. YouTube is also where I go when I want background noise or something to focus on for a longer amount of time. In addition to YouTube, I enjoy watching shows and movies on streaming platforms like Netflix and Disney+. Some of my favorite shows include "Bridgerton" and "Glee," which I watch when I want to relax and fully immerse myself in a show.

In conclusion, I rely heavily on TikTok, Instagram, and Snapchat throughout the day and YouTube for entertainment and relaxation. These platforms help me cure my boredom, keep me connected throughout the day, and help me wind down at night. Watching videos and content on these apps has become a regular part of my everyday life.
